Dear Parents and Guardians,
Just a quick update to let you know what's happening with your Junior Youth at Lazy Mountain Bible Church . Our December 14th Christmas party brought a record-breaking 73 students -- Wow! The Wednesday meeting average attendance is 55, keeping our 10 leaders busy remembering names and getting to know the kids.
We are pleased to announce the church bus has been repaired, passed D.O.T. inspection, and is quite operational. Andy Miller is our faithful and willing bus driver.
If you have not already done so, please complete and return a signed 2005-06 Registration and Medical Release form as required by church policy. Also, as a reminder, it is important that permission slips be completed for all activities occurring away from church. Forms are available from the JYG leaders and can be returned by your student. Parents do not need to come to the church.
Junior Youth Group will continue meeting on Wednesdays from 6:45 to 8:15 PM . We have recently moved to the main sanctuary to allow for our increasing size and also to incorporate music into our meetings.
Please note these exceptions to the usual schedule:
January 28-Broom Ball 1-4 PM --exact location to be announced
February 17-Game Movie Night at LMBC begins at 6:30
March 11-Hilltop Ski Trip--time to be announced
March 15-NO YOUTH GROUP MEETING
April 12-NO YOUTH GROUP MEETING
April 13- Progressive Dinner/Movie--location and times to be announced
May 10-FINAL WEDNESDAY YOUTH GROUP MEETING
May 19-Junior Youth Kickout/Overnight--times and locations to be announced
